PhoneTorch 2 for SymbianOS

PhoneTorch provides functionality to use your smartphone as a torch/flashlight and for Morse signaling. It supports both, the phone's LCD screenlight, and the phone's flash LEDs as light sources.

*If you are not sure whether your Nokia phone will work with PhoneTorch, please first install the free PhoneTorch 1.0 version. If version 1.0 does work, then also PhoneTorch 2.0 works.
** You can check if your phone works with this version by installing this tool (link). After installation click on "Show". If the light is turned on for approximately 2 seconds, then your phone will work.
If your phone works with PhoneTorch, but is not in the listed models, please drop me an email so that I can add the missing model.

Installation Instructions

1. Purchase PhoneTorch
2. If you have already an older version of PhoneTorch installed, then please remove it manually before installing a new PhoneTorch package.
3. Install PhoneTorch on your phone
4. Start PhoneTorch and adjust it to your preferences

Installation Instructions for Unsigned SIS

SymbianOS requires programs to be certificated. The free certification process is depicted below:

1. Download PhoneTorch unsigned
2. Goto SymbianSigned.com website (link)
3. Enter your phone's IMEI (you get it by typing "*#06#" into your phone), your email address and then select the downloaded PhoneTorch file
4. You will receive an email with an activation link. Click on the activation link. After some minutes you receive another email containing the download link to the signed PhoneTorch installation file.
5. Install this signed file on your phone
6. Sometimes you get an certificate error after signing. Then first check that your phone's date and time are correct and wait some minutes. Then try to install it again.
